This is a site completely dedicated to the Manchester Monarchs of the American Hockey League. For any visitors, the Monarchs are the minor league affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings. They might be a minor league team, but they provide major league entertainment.
I've been a fan since the inaugural season in 2001-2002. I live about a mile outside of Manchester, so its easy to get caught up in the hysteria.
I went to the first-ever home game at the Verizon Wireless Arena in downtown Manchester and I was hooked. The entertainment is great, the atmosphere is unbelievable, and the team knows how to win at home.
Us fans can't wait for the night that the Monarchs get to hoist the Calder Cup over their heads. But we still enjoy the excitement of Monarchs hockey and we love our team.
